10 Amazon Must Haves For The Home

Amazon has become a staple in my life. Especially with the quarantine, I haven’t really wanted to leave the house. That being said, these are my top 10 amazon finds for the home to make yourself more comfortable and your life a little easier.

1. Bath Caddy

This bath caddy has an iPhone slot shown on the left and a wine glass slot shown on the right. In the middle is a screen that lifts up so you can place a book, kindle or iPad and it will hold it up right while your soaking in the tub. Literally the best invention ever. I purchased this on prime for about $30.00.

2. Portable Steamer

This steamer runs about $20.00 and is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I hate irons and do not have an iron in my house. This steamer is super quick and eliminates wrinkles in my clothes faster then any iron could. It is small enough that I pack it to travel with and safe enough to use on delicate fabrics.

3. Soft and Plush Shag Rug

I wanted to find a carpet that wasn’t too expensive (because I have a messy dog) but was still comfortable and warmed the floor. This shag carpet cost me around $50.00 and really brightened up the room. I also bought the matching runner for my kitchen for only $20.00. I was concerned with buying a cheap shag carpet because of the quality, but luckily this carpet looks and feels expensive.

4. Hiland Propane Fire Pit

I am currently re-doing my outdoor patio and found this gem. This is the most inexpensive propane fire pit that I have found across the internet. It received 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon and Home Depot and runs about $200. It is small enough to fit inside a 10 by 10 gazebo and strong enough to keep you warm. Once I complete my outdoor renovations I will do a separate blog post with more pictures. I also like the multi-purpose use that you can use the fire pit as a coffee table as well and it is tall enough to fit the propane tank inside. This item sells out fast on Home Depot and Amazon. I had to do a decent amount of stalking to finally purchase this, so if you want it, you have to buy it quick.

5. Kitchen Hardware

We also recently just renovated our kitchen. I will do another post once it is complete with a full reveal. We had dark cabinets with circular silver hardware and they were very scratched up and old. We painted our cabinets with the color White Chantilly Lace and purchased this hardware to match our black counter tops. I went for a modern farmhouse kitchen vibe and these are an amazing quality and super cheap. I purchased a package of 30 for about $30. At Home Depot or Lowes that would’ve been well over $150.

6. Entry Table

I know I did a whole separate post about entry tables for small spaces but this deserves another moment. I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on this entry table. I have a very short and narrow entry way into my home and it fits flush to my wall and does the trick of holding my keys. Can you believe it was only $60?

This is another item you have to stalk quite often because it sells out quickly. I will link below the other blog post with similar tables and I will include this table link down below.

7. Volens White Ruffle Shower Curtain

I am obsessed with my shower curtain that I use in my guest bath. It was only $25 and it super long and is such good quality. It has lated me 2 years and still looks bright and white.

8. Bar Carts

This is a similar bar cart to the one that we purchased 2 years ago. We are big party hosters so a bar cart was a necessity for us. The only difference between ours and the one above is that ours is a little bigger, other then that it looks exactly the same. It is made very well, can hold a lot of alcohol and doesn’t stick out far from the wall. This was costs about $123 and was very easy to build.

9. Garment Rack

I don’t know about you, but I have such a small closet. I use my garment rack for many different purposes, such as hanging my favorite or new pieces and packing for a trip. I just took a trip to the Hamptons and planned all of my outfits on the garment rack and found it much easier to pack. I also use this to hold my clothes when I steam them. This rack cost me about $18 and was super easy to build, I did it myself. You can fold it and put it away or leave it out. I prefer to leave my rack out, it adds an extra decor to my room and doesn’t take up much space. Maybe I will do a house decor tour soon.

10. Flameless Candles

I use my flameless candles and lanterns for the outdoors. I find that it is relaxing and enhances the outdoor ambience. These candles come with a remote control so you don’t have to individually turn them all on. This is a pack for $19 which is an amazing deal. Flameless candles at Pottery Barn can cost upward of $50 for two.
