The best everyday finds at Costco right now to save you money.
Costco is one of my favorite places to go and just so happens to be my husband’s own personal hell. Needless to say, I have to be in and out, in record time. Because of this, I have become a professional Costco shopper over the years. Not to toot my own horn, but I can probably be out of there in 30 minutes or less, now that I have perfected my list. I give myself a maximum budget of $300, which sounds like a lot but trust me that will last you 3 – 4 months depending on your family size. Many times I leave there only spending $180, so it really depends on what you need at the moment. Another tip is to always check the website for sales. At certain times of the year, select items go on sale so you have to make sure you are actively checking.
Here are my current ultimate Costco finds separated by non-food items and food items. Keep in mind, prices may vary depending on location.
Non-Food Items
Tide pods cost anywhere between $28 and $33 for 104 pods. The Kirkland brand has 152 pods for $20.99 and smell just as good. They are also right next to the Tide Pods at the store, and I heard a rumor if the Kirkland brand is next to a name brand, that it is basically the same product made in the same factory (but don’t quote me on that).
Comment down below if you heard that too.
92 count – $22.79
12 rolls for $19.99
Chinet paper plates 225 – $18.99
200 garage bags for $12.99
I actually buy the assorted pack of all the different sizes for about $15.00
Food Items
I am a Starbucks dark roast coffee drinker and this definitely hits the spot. This entire bag is only $13.49 and I have bought it on sale so keep an eye out.
For whatever reason, peanut butter is always expensive at the grocery store unless you go to Trader Joes. These are double the size as a typical container and half the price at just $11.49
This giant container of minced garlic is only $5.49 and I have seen this on sale before for under $5.00.
If your a seltzer drinker, you need La Croix in your life. The lemon-cello flavor is by far the best seltzer flavor I’ve ever had. It takes like lemon meringue pie and is $8.99 for 24 cans.
$7.99
$5.49
Olive oil can be super expensive and this container is $15.99 but I have also bought olive oil by Kirkland for $11.99.
I couldn’t find the image of Kirkland Wild Caught Frozen Salmon. It comes in a bag I believe its about 6 or 7 pounds of salmon in individual packages and costs around $27.99. I make sure I stock up every time I go.
This is not the image from Costco, but they have 10 pounds of Perdue chicken breasts in the frozen section for $23.99. This is one of the best deals I’ve seen at Costco.
Although this isn’t human food, this is a great deal for our fur babies. 72 dental chews for $34.99. At many pet stores, 10 dental chews are $9.99 per bag or more.
My next shopping trip will be very soon and I am going to give myself time to explore new finds and update you guys!
